Thanks people! I installed an older version of Netscape from a CD and downloaded the newer version through Netscape (Yes I did use a winmodem). And yes it did work.

and what does that have to do with my computer? a lot of palm devices use the palm os, does that mean i should use the palm os on my home computer?
