When My company inplemented their Y2K (hihi) "solution" (which was to buy a bunch of new computers in decemeber) I got a sweet deal. The wholesaler we bougth the 35 new pcs and 3 servers from was with me in the office late one night installing stuff and Had brought along a bunch of spare parts (just incase) which included 1 abit BX6 r2, 2 p3 450's, 256 megs (2 128 sticks) pc-100 ram, 4 SCSI Hard disks and a couple of SB-live's. And the end of the night I jokingly told him he could leave those at my desk if he wanted to. Behold the joy and disbelief when he turns to me and says "here take 'em they're yours!" I guess when you think about he must have made close to $60,000 on my copany with all the new systemsd he installed (all p2 350, 64meg with printer monitors the works at the end on '99) so that was nothing to him. The real kicker, two days before I had just built my "BUDGET" power system : AMD k6-2 450 on an asus p5a. I was happy for months.
    Today, a haiku:

    my fingers are so weary
    of repeating crap
