Online RMA Problems, Need Help
Not long ago I purchased two Dimms of memory and recieved the wrong kind of memory. I got an RMA form from the company, got my number, and shipped it to them. The owner said they would refund me the money, but now they seems to not exhist. According to USPS, they attempted to deliver it twice, and no one was there. Now they are also not answering their phones or email. The company is named Mark Data, and they are based in Flordia. Does anyone know any action I can take if it comes down to it, because they seemed to drop off the face of the earth, and I would like my refund for the cheap crap they tried to give me?

Your hosed. If you paid them by check or money order, it's gone. If you paid by a good credit card you could possibly get the Credit card Co. involved to back you up or guarantee your purchase. You could sue them but it would cost you more to find them and try to get anything out of them than it's worth. I only buy from credible source that have a good reputation in the industry. You may have purchased what I call a "bought lesson". Good luck !

I had checked reseller ratings before ordering and there was none, but a friend had said they were a decent company. Also, I just got off the phone w/ my credit card company, and they are going to refund me on a temp. basis, then I will get a full refund after the investigation has been completed.

Ouch Winky, that sucks!
Good luck, and I hope that things work well for you. I hate companies that try to screw people.
