Funny Story (do you have any similar ones)
After working at a computer shop for a year I decided to go to a technical school to get more education. Mainly in Enterprise Networking. Two year program. I received no credit for real life experience so I had to start from the beginning. For example... Intro to computers where they talk about input and output devices. My fourth week and we are still talking about scanners!
Anyway, as a first year student, I had to take my computer to second year students so that they may install network card and settings. While there, I noticed one of those second year students was having a terrible time getting a newly built unit to boot up. I sat in amusement for a while that went over to help. I am not kidding this person was about ready to go postal. When I offered to help, Mr Second Year looked at me like it was Beavis in front of him. And proceeded to tell me that the motherboard was bad. After taking a quick look at the whole setup, I pulled the IDE cable out and inserted it with pin 1 facing the right way. Booted up fine. The look on Mr Second Year was priceless.
Moral of the Story: Credits don't equal real life experience. (I never told him I had worked at a computer shop)

I was here, here I was, was I here? I hope I was....
