HP 6630 motherboard???
I am looking for a mobo for an HP D9294A or 6630 Pavilion. Apparently, these babies were design to be fixed by HP under warranty, and then a through away after that. I would be happy just to find a mobo that fits. Have any of you come across anything?? Before I get all the talk about HP SUX --- yeah yeah yeah -- been there, done that, got the shirt......

It is "almost" standard ATX right? Micro ATX with an extra plug from the psu? Try looking at Micro ATX boards with only 2 or so PCI slots.

Thanks ShawnMT! That looks like the only solution. I spoke with a friend that works for a large store and he is the one that told me about the "throw away" warranty. I guess that I will just start researching mobos.

Thanks DonJ!!! Maybe I will buy 2!! :-)
For that price the poor customer can buy a whole machine. I appreciate your research however. This should teach customer to stick with the custom builds.

Hi Again,
Yeah, I know the price is kinda steep but if you're looking for an exact replacement, these are the guys. I think they had 3 instock.
And of course, you know that HP stands for "High Priced!"
Adios.
