Troubleshooting
What is the preferred troubleshooting book for answers to questions you can't quite remember? Or the bible of tech answers. What do most techies reach for?

it depends. if I am getting an error message from a program, I will go to the KB for that program. i.e., microsoft, corel, etc.
I try to keep a personal knowledge base, because i have a horrible memory. I write down all the tricky problems I've fixed and how.
Many times, I forego the research on problems, and just ask on here! I figure we can all cut each others' research time down....

I've got probably 1000s of printouts from knowledge base. When I run into a problem that I just can't remember its usually on a box that the user cant afford to wait while I look it up. Wonder if I could fit the entire database on a palm??
