Reset password, DLINK DES-3225G
I have a D-Link DES-3225G, 26 port managed switch with an unknown password. This hasn’t been a problem, until now, I want to get into it and reconfigure, hell find out what it is capable of, but I need to change the IP.
I contacted DLink months ago, and they offered no assistance, but said I would have to RMA to them, they would reset it (Claimed replacing a ROM chip), but it would cost. I was actually ready to do that, but I was put on hold with the RMA department for 30 minutes, at long distance rates, so I finally hung up. Anyway, long story short, F-DLink. I want to get this done without their help.
I have the cover off, see a few jumpers, but nothing is labeled. Can this be as simple as resting a PC BIOS?

I wonder if it has a flashable ROM? There are only a few companys that make ROM's who made the one in your router?

Thanks guys. I am going to wimp out and send it in. It only costs $30 plus one way shipping, should be done and back in my hands in less than two weeks.
Again thanks!
