Concerning the Windows WLAN Management, the last two Dell laptops I've had didn't use that. The Dell's use the Intel WiFi Connection Utility to handle the WiFi.

Our company charges a $300 emergency callout fee...that's on top of the normal labor rates. And of course, after-hours and weekends/holidays rates are typically 50% higher than normal working hours....

Try going into Device Manager. Find the device with the yellow exclamation mark. Update the driver from the file that you just downloaded and/or extracted from that .exe file.

I have had good luck with LaserJet printers also. Of course, you know that most HP LaserJets are actually Canon products with HP's label on them. All of the replacement parts have Canon part...

If you have Active Desktop turned on, that will cause the problem you're talking about. Some .bmp files require that for them to be used as wallpaper. You might try turning that off.

OE will try to compact every so often. When it does, it sends copies of all of your folders to the Recycle Bin. You might see if those are still there.
