left mouse click does not work
Has anyone have their left mouse button not work in WinMe on boot? Here is the situation I have a customers
machine that sometimes can't click the left mouse button on any thing but if I remove the mouse while it is on and
plug it back in it works now this fault does not happen all the time. I have taken another machine and swaped
parts and now I got it to do the same thing in both machines

Are you swapping only the mouse between the two machines?

Swapped which parts?
And as much as I hate to be Captain Obvious, did you try another mouse?
Is this a PS2 or a USB mouse? Try a PS2 mouse if it's USB..I've had many USB mouse issues. (or vice versa if it's a PS2)

Way to go... - I'd check it first.
It well maybe bad connector.
Check Ctrl, Alt, Shift keys are not Stucked.
If it's windows KBD check "context menu" key (it is on the middle of "Right Alt" and "Right Ctrl".

As I have said I have swapped all parts between both machines. The mouse is ps/2. I am using a brand new keyboard there is nothing stuck with the keys.

Well the question to ask is what did you swap between the two machines that caused the problem to repeat in the second machine. "parts" is a very liberal term and we need specifics to help.
them - When I click on this it crashes.
me - OK, reboot and let's troublesho...
them - See, it did it again...
me - sigh

I am not sure what part was moved to cause it to happen in the other machine.

That is your pit fault. Go back and try it again, you are on to something...
