Yamaha SCSI 8x8x24 and DirectCD/Take2
I did a backup of my HD last night onto a new Yamaha 8x8x24 SCSI unit via a 1460 SLIMSCSI card, and crated a boot floppy too.
It took 2x CDs to complete, and when changing CDs half way thru, (and at the end of the procedure), a message saying that the device/CD could not be closed. However, the CDs were readable, and all the *.tk2 files were "seeable".
The boot disk worked, and would find the first CD for a "verify", but wouldnt see the second. I tried the process again, this time putting in the 2nd CD first, and it found it, but then wouldn't see the other CD!!!
What can I do? I couldn'y even verify the backup!
Will I ever get DIrectCD/Take 2 to work, or waste of time?

Well,
as you guys don't know about these things, I solved it myself at the machine-code level, so thanx anyway, I have the solution if anyone needs it!!! Very simple really, if you understand the old code!!
