Right now, I'm listening to Eric Clapton and B.B. King's Riding With The King. Frankly, I get depressed about how little new music I get to hear. I'm up here in the middle of nowhere, and outside of Country, Country & Western, Western & Country, Christian Radio, High Plains Public Radio, one Hispanic station, the Amarillo Community College Station, one Moldy Oldy station and a Top Hits station (HipHop and pap like Taylor Swift) there isn't any broadcast radio.

Pretty depressing. I spend most of my screen time in front of a Windows 7 Beta computer running IE 8 beta and Firefox 3.1 Beta 2. Surprise, many of the players for some of my old favorite stations like Texas Rebel Radio and KGSR don't work. Even so, neither of those stations are nearly as adventuresome and experimental as they used to be. Last night I thought I'd listen to KGSR and get the John Mayer taste out of my mouth. First two cuts I heard were IZ performing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and U2's "Magnificent". That wasn't quite enough to induce projectile vomiting, but it was pretty damn close.

Thank God for GotRadio.com and Pandora!
