An alternative to try, you can hit start, run, and in the box type control userpasswords2 . Choose the account that you want to use, and uncheck the box that says " Users must enter a user name and password ". I don't reccomend this, however, as it will automatically put you into a set account every bootup, and if you plan to surf the web or check E-mail, you should do so with a non admin account. Hi, Guts3d. Im not sure if Im logged in as an admin. And no, there are no tabs like the ones specified by slgrieb in the properties window of folders. Again, when I click on properties of any folder, I get the following tabs: General, Sharing, and Customize.
And I tried entering 'control userpasswords2' into the run command. It doesnt solve the issue... I still get a password prompt. What do I do now?
