I would go to installed updates and uninstall as this will then revert back to IE 10. Then download CCleaner, install and run the "Cleaner" nothing else. This will remove all the Temp files, Cookies, & Temporary Internet files.
Actually IE 11 works quite well. Some websites may not render well, but that's highly unlikely for any major website, as in the worst case they can just set the server to send X-UA-Compatible headers for the problem pages.
